2019 Terre de l’Elu 'Espérance' Pineau d’Aunis
Grown in what is known as 'Anjou noir' terroir or sandstone and pudding clay soil, Pineau d’Aunis is manually harvested into 20kg bins and undergoes whole bunch maceration for 15 days. Purple and light in colour, it has floral and Szechuan peppery aromas. A bold attack of spice evolves into floral notes. A delicate and persistent mouth finish. A stunning wine full of finesse and elegance.
